Andrew Richardson

Andrew Richardson

Andy founded Phoenix Resources with his parents back in 2009 and the project was so successful it out-grew its business plan within three months.  In the early days the idea was to save companies money in their disposal of unwanted goods, rather than their goods going to landfill it would come through the distribution hub and be used within the community.  Today Phoenix Resources Centre send products and aid to over 63 countries. They now supply medical aid, educational aid, food aid both home and abroad.  Andy is one of life's visionaries and he is always thinking outside the box for ways he can serve the community. Andy has won awards for his services to the community and through Phoenix supplies many local food banks in the area with produce otherwise destined for landfill. Andy is destined to change the world and make it a better place to live. His latest projects include setting up an incubator to support a range of social enterprises offering ownership and employment opportunities for disadvantaged groups.

Alongside running the resource centre, Annette is involved in a lot of Phoenix's other projects including organising a fun day to raise money for a local child and working alongside the Harvey Centre to run events like the queens jubilee.
